MANAGING DIRECTOR

Tamika is a creative economist focused on the economics of abundance. She aspires to reclaim and co-design equitable solutions for community health and well-being. This emerges from actively engaging her skills in community care for over two decades with local, national, and international entities focused on arts, culture, comprehensive community development, health, leadership cultivation, and spiritual care. As a daughter, mother, wife, cultural worker, and care collaborator, Tamika is drawn to individuals and communities fueled by creativity, joy, honest social transformation, sustainable growth, and holistic success. These values take varied resources, creative doing, attention, effort, and togetherness. Evans was raised in the Great Plains region of North America and now resides in the Southwestern region with her family.

LEAD ORGANIZER | RESTORATIVE ECONOMICS

Fenton is a lifelong Memphian with a sincere passion and commitment to improving the quality of life for the residential and corporate citizens of this city. Fenton is a strategic planner and financial analyst. Recently, he served as Vice President and Executive Director of The Consortium MMT. There he was tasked with creating and overseeing the talent development programming, as well as, cultivating a community of support for the Memphis talent community. Fenton currently serves on the board of directors of BLP Film Studios and as COO of Princeton James Productions, LLC. He is also the pastor of Christian Love Fellowship Church in the Memphis Frayser community. He holds an Executive MBA from the Fogelman College of Business at the University of Memphis, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from Morehouse College. Fenton and his wife Lisa have two children Kayla and Fenton, Jr.

ECOSYSTEM STRATEGY COORDINATOR

Christina S. Cook is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health degree in the Community Health Behavior and Education program at the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University. Christina holds an MPH from Georgia Southern University, a Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Religious Studies and Linguistics from Armstrong Atlantic State University, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. In addition to her work with the BIG We Foundation, Christina works with her community in Savannah, Georgia, to address intersectional health justice and equity issues. Christina believes that everyone deserves access, understanding, choice, and ability to pursue happiness, fulfillment, and wellness.

LEAD ORGANIZER | GIRLS & WOMXN

Zakiyyah has a strong background in the nonprofit and social impact space with a focus on issues such as women’s health, youth empowerment, and criminal justice. In her role at the BIG We Foundation she is dedicated to the empowerment and leadership of womxn and girls of color across the country at Shelectricity. Prior to entering the non profit space, Zakiyyah interned with Representative Karen Bass on the Hill and at the Los Angeles Public Defenders Office. During her time in undergrad and she studied Mandarin at Tsinghua University in Beijing. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Northridge in her hometown of Los Angeles, California.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Boh developed her passion for community work while studying for her Bachelor’s in Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley. While living in Puerto Rico and operating a coconut and organic juice kiosk at the farmers market, she developed a deep love for agriculture, food sovereignty, and economic solidarity. Today, Boh continues her passion for environmental and community work as the development manager for BIG We Foundation. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Gardopia Gardens, a garden-based learning non-profit in San Antonio, Texas, where she lives.

FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

Donna Carter is the owner of Carter Financial Services. She plays a huge role within our Ecosystem as the Financial Director with the BIG We Foundation. She is an experienced finance professional with 20+ years providing innovative tax planning, taxation, consulting, and compliance expertise. She is skilled in primary and secondary review and preparation of financial statements, complex tax returns, which include consolidated multi-state corporate, operating and investment partnership, personal income tax, not-for-profit, fiduciary, and gift tax returns. She possesses strong leadership, excellent communication, and organizational skills. She is a Certified Quickbooks Online Accountant, and Microsoft Educator. She is an Authorized IRS E-file service provider. She received her B.A with concentration in Accounting at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her Masters in Taxation at Suffolk University.
